A new Task Force on Anti-Racism was established by the Educational Policy and Curriculum Committee at its June 2020 meeting. It will be co-chaired by Dean for Students Fidencio Saldaña and incoming Associate Dean for Student and Multicultural Affairs Andrea Reid. The Task Force will work across the Program In Medical Education (PME) to address issues in curriculum, student affairs, admissions, faculty development, staff development and assessment. It will also collaborate with the Office of Diversity Inclusion and Community Partnership to look at issues outside the PME. Students will play a key role in informing the actions of the Task Force. Please be on the lookout for an email announcing the official launch and opportunities to participate. If you have an interest in contributing to this Task Force, please contact Fidencio Saldaña.
