Flash Talks: Teachable Moments in Educational Implementation

Deadline: February 28, 2020

Help teach the teachers what you know!

We are looking for volunteers to teach best practices and new ideas for integrating sexual and gender minority health (inclusive of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA+) identities) across the undergraduate medical school curriculum, including classrooms or clinical settings.

Can you help students take a great and inclusive patient history? Do you skillfully manage hot moments in the classroom? Do you excel in navigating the bedsides of LGBTQIA+ people? Do you co-create inclusive curriculum with students? Have you brought intersectionality into your work and can show others how? Are you a new voice or have an experience we need to hear?

Share your great idea with us. Talks should be six or so minutes and around three slides (optional).
