About this Event

The Violence Recovery Program is hosting a virtual gathering for LGBTQ+ survivors and allies called Fighting Isolation and Loneliness: Solidarity with LGBTQ+ survivors. We recognize that at this time COVID-19 has only increased isolation for the LGBTQ+ community and left many vulnerable to multiple forms of violence. Our intention is to create a welcoming and accessible virtual space for connection, conversation, and mutual support. We hope to collectively consider how as survivors, advocates, counselors, allies, family members, and friends we can support one another as individuals but also stand in solidarity with all LGBTQ+ survivors. We hope that you will attend and encourage you to invite others who might benefit from this community space.

Accessibility: This conversation will be held in English. If you have any other accessibility needs please let us know.
